What you will do
- Create, update, and prepare economic databases, primarily in ARIES.
- Retrieve, filter, download, and import well production test and other data.
- Build preliminary economic forecasts, evaluation spreadsheets, metrics, graphs, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Review and verify the accuracy of well evaluation data.
- Coordinate special projects for reservoir, geological, and acquisitions and divestitures staff.
- Support pro-forma economic modeling using basic LOS data.
Requirements
- At least five years of oil and gas engineering technician experience.
- Ability to solve problems accurately, manage multiple priorities, and maintain effective working relationships.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Ability to integrate data from different sources into reservoir models.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, and Outlook.
- Working knowledge of ARIES, IHS Enerdeq, and Enverus Drilling Info/Prism.
Nice to have
- A&D investment banking or private equity experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited four-year university or college.
- Experience with Spotfire, Power BI, and public data retrieval from IHS, Drilling Info, and state regulatory sources.
