Senior Building Surveyor

Location: Sheffield, United Kingdom, with hybrid working

What you will do

• Manage building surveying projects and client commissions.
• Act as Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent.
• Prepare designs, technical specifications, pre-acquisition surveys, and asset condition schedules.
• Deliver quality, technical, bank, and fund monitoring.
• Diagnose defects and manage dilapidations and Party Wall Awards.
• Build client relationships and promote technical knowledge and best practice across projects.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or a similar technical discipline.
• MRICS or membership of another relevant professional body.
• Experience with CDM and health and safety requirements.
• Project-based experience, including managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Strong specification-writing skills and good knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, prioritising workloads, and delivering deadlines in a consultancy environment.
