What you will do
- Develop PHP-based applications and websites in large-scale PHP, Ruby, and LAMP environments.
- Participate in requirements analysis, documentation, design, development, testing, and deployment.
- Apply design patterns and web frameworks including Rails, Symfony2, jQuery, and MooTools.
- Build and maintain functionality using JavaScript and AJAX.
- Work with distributed version control and complex SQL in relational database environments.
- Use Eclipse or a similar integrated development environment and apply object-oriented design and UML.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree and 6+ years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Strong understanding of design patterns and web frameworks.
- Strong experience with JavaScript/AJAX, distributed version control, complex SQL, and relational database concepts.
- Practical experience with object-oriented design and UML.
- W-2 employment only; C2C is not accepted.
- H-1B transfer candidates are eligible.
