Validation Engineer (Snowmobiles)

Location: Roseau, Minnesota, USA; onsite role

Salary: $75,000–$95,000 per year

What you will do

• Develop and execute DVP&R plans for snowmobile programs.
• Define test procedures, equipment requirements, and pass/fail criteria for vehicle and system performance.
• Coordinate component- and vehicle-level validation with product, systems, and test teams.
• Establish reliability and durability targets and lead validation activities for performance, drivability, and certification requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret test data while maintaining technical accuracy and data integrity.
• Report validation status and conclusions, support field testing and root cause analysis, and improve testing methods.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• At least 3 years of experience in validation, testing, or product development engineering.
• Hands-on knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Experience with, or ability to learn, data acquisition and processing tools such as AIM or Edaq.
• Experience planning, developing, coordinating, and executing tests, including field and laboratory testing with reliability metrics and targets.
• This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Travel of up to 10% is required.
