What you will do
- Develop and execute external communication strategies, programs, initiatives, and campaigns.
- Lead media relations across local, regional, trade, and national markets, including media outreach, messaging, training, and press conferences.
- Advise business and agency partners on public relations strategies and communication tactics.
- Build external understanding and support of ’s financial planning approach.
- Develop thought leadership content and lead local-market social media strategy and execution.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to deliver content for multiple audiences.
Requirements
- At least six years of experience in professional communications, public relations, marketing, organizational communication, training, or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or social sciences.
- Specialized knowledge of public relations, media relations, and issues management.
- Experience in corporate financial communications or retail investment product communications.
- Exceptional presentation, writing, analytical, interpersonal, organizational, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with digital and social media, PR metrics and analysis, strategic plans, press materials, and detailed messaging.
Nice to have
- Experience achieving results in both national and regional media relations.
- Experience working with and guiding PR firms and virtual teams across regional markets.
