What you will do
- Procure raw materials using SAP, Rapid Response, Ariba, and related systems.
- Optimize inventory levels, lead times, safety stock, and supply plans to prevent shortages and minimize waste.
- Generate and manage purchase orders, blanket orders, vendor-managed inventory, and other supplier agreements.
- Release supplier forecasts and orders, consolidate supply-and-demand data, and report performance to stakeholders.
- Lead and support cross-functional initiatives involving Manufacturing, Process Development, Engineering, suppliers, and customers.
- Track performance metrics, resolve complex supply issues, and improve inventory processes, tools, and systems.
Requirements
- High school/GED with 4 years of Supply Chain or Procurement experience, an associate degree with 2 years of experience, a bachelor's degree with 6 months of experience, or a master's degree.
- Experience with supply chain concepts, inventory management, and procurement processes.
- Proficiency with computer systems such as SAP, Rapid Response, Excel, or comparable tools.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, data science, optimization, communication, negotiation, and issue-resolution skills.
- Understanding of cGMP guidelines and raw-material qualifications for the pharmaceutical industry.
- The role is based in Holly Springs, North Carolina, United States.

- Degree in mathematics, science, data science, or engineering.
- Experience managing single-use production-part inventories in biotechnology or healthcare.
- Experience with Operational Excellence methodologies and process improvement.
- Project management experience.
