Salary: $109,000–$144,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead early-stage vehicle architecture development through system-level simulation, trade studies, and performance analysis.
• Define and evaluate vehicle dynamics targets, attributes, and performance metrics across multiple use cases.
• Develop and refine high-fidelity full-vehicle simulation models using CarSim and other multibody dynamics tools.
• Run scenario-based simulations covering handling, ride, stability, and durability inputs.
• Develop standardized simulation methods, modeling frameworks, automation, scripts, and engineering tools.
• Collaborate with design, test, and ride and handling teams to correlate simulation results with physical data and provide actionable recommendations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 6 years of experience in vehicle dynamics and system-level performance modeling.
• Experience with multibody dynamics and full-vehicle simulation tools, including CarSim.
• Experience developing or applying simulation methods to support engineering decisions and early-stage vehicle architecture.
• Experience correlating simulation models with physical test data and communicating complex results to cross-functional teams.
• Experience with automation, scripting, or tool development using Python or a similar language.
