VP, Chief Risk Officer (Enterprise Risk Management): Leading PJM's enterprise risk management operations across strategic, operational, financial, market, regulatory, cyber, and reputational risks with an accent on credit and collateral risk, market surveillance, governance, and quantitative analytics. Focus on developing risk controls, monitoring wholesale market participant behavior, evaluating systemic market risks, and advising executive leadership and the Board.
Location: Audubon, Pennsylvania, United States (Hybrid)

What you will do
- Lead enterprise risk management across strategic, operational, financial, market, regulatory, cyber, and reputational risks.
- Establish risk appetite, tolerance levels, key risk indicators, controls, measurement methodologies, and reporting processes.
- Oversee credit, model validation, enterprise risk management, market trade risk, collateral management, insurance underwriting, and quantitative analytics.
- Develop market participant surveillance processes covering trading activity, positions, margins, trends, and behaviors.
- Lead the Risk Management Committee and provide recommendations, analysis, and reports to executive leadership and the PJM Board's Risk and Audit Committee.
- Support FERC filings, audits, regulatory matters, market rule changes, enforcement issues, and risk education across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a comparable background.
- At least 10 years of experience as a risk management officer and extensive credit and financial risk management experience.
- 15+ years of leadership experience in managerial or supervisory roles.
- Strong background in financial markets, quantitative analysis, communication, advocacy, influencing, and cross-divisional collaboration.
- Ability to work in a hybrid role based in Audubon, Pennsylvania.
Nice to have
- MBA or advanced business education.
- Experience with PJM agreements and tariffs.
- Experience with PJM operations, markets, planning functions, or PJM committees.
