Stormwater Project Manager

Location: Denton, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

• Lead floodplain studies, stormwater management plans, watershed master plans, and capital improvement project designs.
• Serve as technical lead using HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, InfoWorks ICM, GIS, and CAD.
• Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, fee estimates, and financial performance.
• Review technical analyses, reports, and design deliverables for quality.
• Develop proposal content and statements of qualifications, and support client-facing programs.
• Direct multidisciplinary project teams and mentor engineers, technicians, and junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or an equivalent qualification.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in Texas required.
• At least 6 years of experience in stormwater management and drainage design.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external clients.

Nice to have

• 8+ years of experience in stormwater management.
• Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) certification.
• Experience leading client-facing stormwater and flood risk reduction programs.
• Experience supporting proposal development and business growth.
