Material Handler II - Team Lead - 2nd Shift

Location: Richfield, Wisconsin, USA; onsite, 2nd shift, Monday–Friday, 2:30pm–10:30pm

Pay: $21.85 per hour + $2.50 shift premium + $1.50 lead premium

What you will do

• Pick warehoused parts and deliver materials to assembly areas to support efficient production.
• Operate and inspect forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Coordinate with production lines, supervisors, team members, and cross-functional partners.
• Resolve routine and moderately complex material-handling issues and recommend solutions.
• Train employees on established processes and support cross-training across materials areas.
• Participate in project teams and lead portions of continuous improvement initiatives focused on processes, lead times, throughput, and cost.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of material-handling experience for production roles or 2 years of material-handling/warehouse experience for distribution roles.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate material-handling equipment and work at heights.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in a materials environment.
• Ability to train employees in established processes and interface with other departments.
• Effective communication, teamwork, attention to detail, and professional work ethics.
• Ability to read and understand work instructions, and perform basic reading, writing, and math functions.
