Maintenance Intern (Mechatronics)

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; on-site work in a manufacturing facility

What you will do

• Assist electromechanical technicians with reactive maintenance and troubleshooting of production equipment.
• Support preventive maintenance procedures and perform minor maintenance after training.
• Assist with the installation, monitoring, modification, and improvement of manufacturing equipment.
• Help resolve equipment, process, and material issues with technicians, customers, suppliers, and equipment vendors.
• Learn to develop preventive-maintenance tasks and schedules and maintain accurate equipment records.
• Maintain spare-parts and supplies inventory while prioritizing the maintenance work backlog.

Requirements

• Current enrollment in a two-year Associate Degree program in Engineering Automation or Mechatronics.
• Successful completion of one or two semesters in the relevant program.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain basic electromechanical equipment.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Ability to stand throughout the shift and lift up to 40 lb.
• Must comply with TTM export control policies and applicable ITAR, EAR, and OFAC requirements.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications.
