Commercial Escrow Officer (In Office)

Location: Tampa, Florida, USA; in-office

Salary: $28.09–$37.44 per hour

What you will do

• Establish and service commercial escrow accounts and process escrow documents according to established policies and procedures.
• Manage simple and complex commercial real estate escrow transactions as a neutral liaison between buyers, sellers, and lenders.
• Coordinate with Underwriting to monitor and mitigate transaction risk.
• Account for and disburse funds according to contract terms.
• Complete closings by reviewing, recording, and filing documents, including final closing statements and title documents.
• Prepare escrow status reports and legal documents while meeting delivery dates and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of escrow experience, preferably in commercial escrow.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, customer service, problem-solving, organizational, and detail-oriented skills.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Comfort working with technology, proprietary programs, and new software applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Escrow officer certification may be required depending on the state.
