Regional Merchandiser Ⅱ (Outdoor Footwear)

hirify.global manages the Columbia brand business across Japan's wholesale and retail channels.

What you will do

• Drive assortment direction and marketplace strategies for the Columbia brand in Japan.
• Develop product prototypes and support manufacturing and design activities.
• Research the outdoor market, materials, and sales data to validate product competitiveness.
• Present seasonal product lines to internal and external stakeholders.
• Review cost roll-ups, analyze business performance, and support margin goals.
• Review fit samples, communicate issues and solutions, and coordinate with sales, production, marketing, design, and overseas teams.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of outdoor footwear or footwear product development.
• At least 3 years of experience as a product merchandising specialist, footwear buyer, product developer, or in a related field within the outdoor or fashion industry.
• Bachelor's degree or above.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English for collaboration with overseas colleagues and business partners.
• Experience with Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, organizational, and independent working skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Illustrator and PDM systems.
• Passion for outdoor activities and fashion.
