Chartered Building Surveyor

Location: Leeds, with hybrid working

What you will do

• Provide core building surveying services across a range of property projects.
• Manage client relationships, reporting, and delivery of value for money.
• Prepare programmes, surveys, specifications, contract documents, and key-stage reports from feasibility through completion and post-handover.
• Manage multiple projects on live operational sites and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams.
• Administer building contracts and manage design, health and safety, commercial, procurement, and contractual processes.
• Undertake asset management surveys and planned maintenance inspections.

Requirements

• Degree in Building Surveying or a similar technical discipline.
• Strong technical delivery experience and experience managing complex projects from inception to completion.
• Excellent specification writing skills and good knowledge of JCT contracts.
• Experience working with multiple stakeholders, managing workloads, and meeting deadlines.
• Consultancy experience with a client-facing approach and the ability to build long-term relationships.
• Ideally, MRICS or membership of another relevant professional body.
