Director, Communications (Hospitality)

What you will do

• Lead communications strategy and centralized communications initiatives across multiple parks.
• Manage proactive and responsive media relations, issue management, and company spokesperson duties.
• Develop content plans supporting reputation, park attendance, and brand messaging.
• Oversee social media, content, PR, and park-based communications teams.
• Develop communications training and interview preparation for internal spokespeople.
• Communicate with ambassadors, vendors, guests, NGOs, advocacy groups, and other audiences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, PR, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of high-level communications experience.
• Demonstrated team leadership experience and a track record of developing a centralized communications model.
• Experience in travel, hospitality, or entertainment.
• Strong media relations, presentation, public speaking, and pressure-management skills.
• Experience working with NGOs and advocacy groups, plus an understanding of influencers and influencer marketing.
