Compliance Systems Consultant (AI)

What you will do

• Lead enhancements for enterprise compliance monitoring and surveillance systems from scoping and requirements through UAT, deployment, and change control.
• Conduct daily, monthly, and quarterly monitoring, validate system performance, tune detection logic, and maintain regulatory monitoring coverage.
• Define requirements for dashboards and publish compliance metrics, KPIs, trend reports, and regulatory deliverables.
• Analyze system health, limitations, and compliance risks; document findings, recommend mitigations, and escalate significant issues.
• Identify and implement automation, analytics, and AI opportunities in line with firm governance and measurable success criteria.
• Coordinate vendors, cross-functional stakeholders, user support, training, documentation, remediation, and team mentoring.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of relevant experience in compliance monitoring, surveillance, or related technology programs.
• Experience leading medium-to-large cross-functional system projects from requirements through production implementation.
• Experience evaluating and implementing AI, automation, or analytics solutions in a regulated environment, including AI governance and business cases.
• Strong analytical, reporting, problem-solving, decision-making, communication, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience balancing regulatory risk, business impact, and resource constraints across multiple systems.

Nice to have

• FINRA registration, including Series 7 and 24.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, information systems, or a related field.
• Experience with enterprise surveillance systems, regulatory examinations, ticketing and change-management systems, data visualization, vendor management, or team mentoring.
