Technical Sales Manager - PI&WC, APAC (F/M/D) (Chemical Manufacturing): Driving sales growth and managing end-to-end technical and commercial sales activities for paper impregnation and laminate solutions across the Asia Pacific region with an accent on customer consultation, application engineering, and strategic business development. Focus on developing tailored product solutions, leading negotiations, coordinating cross-functional delivery, and maintaining accurate sales forecasts and CRM data.

What you will do
- Achieve sales targets, identify new business opportunities, and execute strategic sales plans across the Asia Pacific region.
- Build long-term customer relationships through regular reviews, client visits, follow-ups, and tailored technical solutions.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, product selection support, application engineering, and pre-sales and post-sales consultation.
- Manage proposals, quotations, technical documentation, commercial and technical negotiations, contract finalization, and order closure.
- Collaborate with engineering, R&D, production, and service teams on customer solutions, product improvements, and customizations.
- Maintain sales pipelines and customer data, and prepare forecasts, reports, and performance metrics.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Wood Science or Technology, or Pulp & Paper Technology.
- Experience with paper impregnation or laminates.
- Experience working with customers across the Asia Pacific region.
- Ability to provide technical training, installation guidance, and troubleshooting support to customers, internal teams, and channel partners.
Nice to have
- Experience with wood panel manufacturers, including particleboard and MDF.
- Experience with chemical suppliers or resin manufacturers, including resins, additives, waxes, or catalysts.
