Associate HR Generalist (Romulus, MI)

Location: Onsite in Romulus, Michigan, Monday through Friday, 10 AM–7 PM; flexibility for a multiple-shift operation is required. Business travel of up to 25% may be required within and outside the state.

Salary: $58,000–$87,000 annual, plus bonus and/or incentive eligibility.

What you will do

• Maintain and report employee information, records, headcount, training, disciplinary, and performance data.
• Advise employees, managers, and local leadership on HR policies, procedures, employee relations, compensation, and job evaluations.
• Coordinate with Talent Acquisition on recruitment and selection, and conduct new employee onboarding.
• Analyze training needs and support the implementation of training programs.
• Partner with HR management on investigations, employee issues, exit interviews, leave administration, and workplace accommodations.
• Support workers’ compensation administration and help coordinate employees’ return to work.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience in HR support or HR administration.
• Ability to prioritize, organize, track details, and meet multiple project deadlines.
• Availability for onsite work Monday through Friday from 10 AM to 7 PM and flexibility for multiple shifts.

Nice to have

• PHR or SPHR certification.
