TL;DR
Frontend Developer (Next.js) (e-commerce): Building and maintaining a scalable storefront integrated with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and commerce microservices with an accent on React, Next.js Server Components, performance, accessibility, and SEO. Focus on developing headless commerce features, designing API integrations, leveraging AI-assisted development tools, and improving reliability across deployment and observability workflows.
Location: Hybrid position in Austin, Texas, United States

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain storefront features with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and JavaScript, deployed on Vercel.
- Integrate headless front-end applications with Salesforce Commerce Cloud using SCAPI and OCAPI.
- Build and consume GraphQL and REST services for product, catalog, pricing, promotions, cart, checkout, and order data.
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, accessibility, page performance, and SEO for a large dynamic product catalog.
- Collaborate with UX/design, product, merchandising, and backend teams to deliver scalable commerce solutions.
- Contribute to testing, code reviews, CI/CD, deployments, monitoring, observability, documentation, and production troubleshooting.
Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software development experience building modern web applications, preferably in e-commerce.
- Strong experience with Next.js v14+ and React, including App Router, Server Components, and modern caching strategies.
- Proven Salesforce Commerce Cloud experience with SFRA, SCAPI, OCAPI, or headless implementations.
- Strong TypeScript/JavaScript fundamentals and experience with GraphQL and/or REST APIs.
- Experience with Git, package managers, Webpack or Vite, ESLint, Prettier, CI/CD, and Vercel deployments.
- Working knowledge of e-commerce architecture, web performance, WCAG accessibility, SEO, testing, security, and Agile collaboration.
Nice to have
- Experience with Next.js 16, Turbopack, Cache Components, and ISR revalidation.
- Experience with composable commerce architectures and modern AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Codex, GitHub Copilot, GPT, Gemini, or Cursor.
