Head of Data Engineering & Analytics (SAP): Defining and governing enterprise-wide data architecture, master data management, data governance, and cross-platform integration across SAP and non-SAP systems with an accent on canonical data models, data quality, and system-of-record principles. Focus on establishing enterprise data ownership, leading MDM and data lake transition initiatives, and building reusable integration patterns across complex manufacturing and regulated environments.
Location: Malvern, Pennsylvania, United States, or Torino, Italy; site-focused position associated with the Borgaro Torinese manufacturing site.

What you will do
- Define, maintain, and evolve the enterprise data architecture blueprint across SAP ERP, BW, GTS, Concur, Salesforce CRM, MES, finance, pricing, trade compliance, and analytics platforms.
- Act as the enterprise data design authority and establish standards for data modeling, naming, semantics, integration, and system-of-record definitions.
- Own the Master Data Management strategy, including domain prioritization, golden records, survivorship rules, hierarchies, data cleansing, migration, and harmonization.
- Establish the data governance operating model, data ownership and stewardship framework, quality KPIs, issue remediation, lineage, traceability, and auditability.
- Govern data flows and integration patterns across SAP BTP, MuleSoft, EDI, APIs, event-driven integrations, and batch processes.
- Lead a small team of data engineers, translate architecture decisions into implementation backlogs, and coordinate delivery with internal teams and external partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture, data governance, or related roles.
- Experience with SAP-centric enterprise landscapes integrated with multiple non-SAP platforms.
- Proven experience designing and governing Master Data Management solutions, data ownership models, data quality frameworks, and stewardship processes.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise data modeling, integration semantics, API-led and event-driven patterns, batch processing, EDI, and SAP data concepts.
- Experience in manufacturing and MES data architecture, analytics and planning, trade compliance, pricing data, complex regulated environments, and leading small technical or architecture teams.
