What you will do
- Develop backend systems for rebooting, upgrading, and monitoring network access points.
- Build ETL scripts using Talend.
- Support Xfinity Wi-Fi web tools, properties, captive portals, and microsites.
- Write, execute, and document thorough Python unit tests.
- Document code and follow web development best practices.
- Troubleshoot IP connectivity and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
- 5–7 years of related experience, including expert-level Python and Python framework experience.
- 2–4 years of experience with Oracle or MySQL.
- Strong object-oriented programming concepts and experience with Python unit testing.
- Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins and Puppet.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational skills, accountability, and ability to work under pressure.
