Appliance Mechanic-1 (Commercial Appliances)

Location: Honolulu, HI, United States; onsite

What you will do

• Install, service, diagnose, and repair residential and commercial appliances, including washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, dishwashers, fryers, ovens, mixers, ice machines, freezers, and chillers.
• Use hand tools, test equipment, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer specifications to complete repairs.
• Refurbish and clean appliances both on job sites and in the shop.
• Complete required forms and routine reports accurately for office staff.
• Communicate professionally with employees, customers, and clients while handling customer concerns with discretion.
• Follow safety procedures, participate in required training, and work independently while managing competing priorities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical degree or two years of experience in appliance repair.
• Ability to read and interpret maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, wiring diagrams, safety rules, and standard operating procedures.
• Valid state driver's license throughout employment.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening test and obtain a base pass for military bases.
