Location: Orlando, Florida; field-based role requiring residence within 30 minutes of the Orlando metro area. The position includes rotating 24/7/365 on-call coverage, overtime, and some travel.
Salary: $20.00–$25.00 USD per hour

What you will do
- Locate, measure, map, and mark underground fiber-optic cables and utilities using paint, flags, electrical and magnetic techniques, GPS, blueprints, and radar.
- Analyze construction blueprints and identify potential problem areas to protect network integrity.
- Document site information, utility locations, and interactions in organizational software.
- Communicate with clients, engineers, management, and other teams during field activities.
- Inspect cabinets, buried cables, construction sites, and outdoor facilities in varied weather and environmental conditions.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, network equipment, vehicle materials, site security, and cleanliness.
Requirements
- Must reside within 30 minutes of the Orlando, Florida metro area.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year of relevant field construction or utility-locating experience.
- Proficiency with computers, mobile phones, test equipment, Microsoft Windows, and Office applications.
- Must be authorized to work full time in the United States; employer-sponsored work authorization, including OPT, TN, and H-1B, is not available.
- Valid state-issued driver license, eligibility to operate a company vehicle, ability to follow safety procedures, and ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
Nice to have
- Experience with utility locating and fiber-optic cable builds.
