Events Associate Manager (Healthcare): Planning and delivering exhibition booths for industry tradeshows, corporate marketing events, and internal events across primarily EMEA with an accent on event logistics, supplier coordination, budgets, and stakeholder communication. Focus on coordinating on-site execution, managing multiple event projects, and configuring registration, lead capture, survey, and polling technologies.

Location: Lisbon, Portugal; primarily supporting EMEA projects with some on-site support required at tradeshows and events.

What you will do

  • Plan and deliver small-scale events and support larger regional and global event projects.
  • Manage participation in industry tradeshows, including logistics, creative deliverables, exhibition booths, shipping, and stored assets.
  • Coordinate on-site execution covering venue setup, catering, audiovisual services, printed materials, signage, and branded merchandise.
  • Research venues, develop proposals, and manage timelines, budgets, suppliers, financial records, and payments.
  • Manage delegate communications, event mailboxes, scheduling, documentation, and administrative support.
  • Configure and administer event technology platforms for registration, lead capture, surveys, and polling.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in event management and industry tradeshow participation.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills for collaboration across multiple regions.
  • Proven project management, stakeholder management, communication, problem-solving, prioritisation, and time-management skills.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams and strong cultural awareness.
  • Ability to work independently and drive projects from start to finish in a remote environment, including occasional on-site event support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Teams.

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or Hospitality.
  • Corporate experience.
  • Experience with Cvent.
  • Experience using AI-powered tools to improve event delivery and operational efficiency.
