Title Underwriter – NY Residential & Commercial (Remote Opportunity)

Salary: $97,700–$130,300 annually

What you will do

• Provide underwriting support, counsel, and authorization for title insurance commitments and policies.
• Underwrite residential New York properties and commercial real estate transactions within delegated authority limits.
• Apply underwriting standards and guidelines to assess title insurance risks.
• Advise company personnel on real estate settlement services.
• Collaborate with internal personnel and customers to identify solutions and support transaction outcomes.

Requirements

• At least three years of title underwriting experience.
• Familiarity with New York condominium transactions is required.
• Knowledge of real estate law and title and settlement processes.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to collaborate, make decisions, build relationships, and communicate complex or unfavorable information tactfully.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
