Sr. IT Systems Analyst (SAP BASIS and Security Administrator)

What you will do

• Design, implement, integrate, administer, and support SAP BASIS and SAP Security solutions.
• Maintain SAP system architecture, security roles, authorizations, integrations, and infrastructure with IT, business stakeholders, and vendors.
• Monitor SAP system health, performance, availability, background jobs, interfaces, transports, and infrastructure components.
• Lead system refresh, patching, and upgrade projects, including migration from test to production using CHARM and TSM.
• Lead the Change Control Board, ensuring complete documentation and compliance with change management policies.
• Troubleshoot SAP and third-party software issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.

Requirements

• At least 15 years of information systems experience, with strong SAP BASIS, SAP Security, infrastructure support, upgrades, patching, monitoring, and change management experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP databases, operating systems, servers, infrastructure concepts, enterprise applications, SAP landscapes, job scheduling, and transport management.
• Required proficiency in SAP BASIS Administration, SAP Security Administration, SAP Solution Manager, CHARM, transport management, system monitoring, patching, upgrades, database refreshes, and TSM.
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, project management, or a related field, or relevant experience.
• Ability to diagnose and solve problems, manage priorities and deadlines, and maintain effective working relationships across IT and business teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with SAP HANA, ABAP troubleshooting, SQL, SAP Data Services, SAP RISE, PRA, UOM, audit support, and segregation of duties concepts.
• Formal SAP training, LEAN or Six Sigma certification, or PMP certification.
