Service Technician (Data Centers)

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on diesel generator systems and associated equipment.
• Assist with troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and first-level intervention during incidents.
• Prepare and maintain tools, spare parts, and work areas.
• Execute repairs according to procedures, safety standards, permits, and LOTO requirements.
• Support mechanical, electrical, and automation subcontractors, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Provide daily reports, intervention feedback, and technical escalations to the service coordinator or senior technician.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in power generation, industrial maintenance, or technical service.
• Good knowledge of diesel generators, engines, or electrical and mechanical systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical systems, technical drawings, troubleshooting procedures, and technical instructions.
• Fluent German required; basic to intermediate English.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office and digital reporting tools.
• Hands-on, reliable, safety-focused, proactive, and able to work in a structured team environment.
