Salary: $20.00–$25.00 USD per hour

What you will do
- Locate, measure, map, and mark underground fiber optic cables and utilities using paint, flags, GPS, electrical, magnetic, and radar techniques.
- Analyze blueprints and identify where construction activities may affect underground infrastructure.
- Document site information, utility locations, and interactions in organizational software.
- Communicate with clients, engineers, management, and other operational teams.
- Inspect outdoor facilities and construction sites in varied weather and environmental conditions while maintaining safety and network integrity.
- Maintain tools, test equipment, vehicles, materials, site security, and network equipment.
Requirements
- Must be located within 30 minutes of Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Up to one year of relevant field construction or utility-locating experience; fiber optic cable experience is preferred.
- Computer, mobile phone, test equipment, Microsoft Windows, and Office proficiency.
- Must be authorized to work full-time in the United States. The position does not offer employer-sponsored work authorization, including OPT, TN, H-1B, or other work visas.
- Valid state-issued driver license, acceptable driving record, ability to operate a company vehicle, follow safety procedures, and lift up to 100 pounds.
