Universal Banker (Banking)

Salary: $21.98–$32.97 per hour

What you will do

• Provide courteous customer service and resolve service-related issues efficiently.
• Process teller transactions, balance daily activity, safeguard cash and negotiable instruments, and support vault, safe, and ATM operations.
• Open and maintain customer accounts, communicate disclosures and FDIC protection, and keep account records accurate.
• Identify customer needs, recommend suitable banking products and services, and make referrals to licensed representatives when appropriate.
• Build and deepen customer relationships to support team sales and referral goals.
• Follow regulatory, compliance, security, audit, CIP, and BSA procedures while assisting with training new branch staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of combined retail banking experience as a Teller and/or Customer Service Representative.
• Knowledge of banking products, services, operations, compliance, risk, fraud, and loss prevention.
• Strong customer service, communication, phone, problem-solving, organizational, and judgment skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Weekend work, extended hours, coverage at neighboring branches, and occasional travel for mandatory training may be required.
