What you will do

  • Support daily import and export customs operations across EMEA countries.
  • Create instructions for import and export customs clearance.
  • Apply customs classification, origin determination, and customs valuation rules.
  • Communicate in English with hirify.global plants, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to collect and verify clearance data.
  • Use customs systems after training and search for relevant information in SAP and other databases.
  • Prepare statements for customs authorities under supervision and verify and correct customs declarations.

Requirements

  • Basic knowledge of import, export, and transit customs processes.
  • English at Intermediate level (B2) required.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Good communication skills and flexibility in working hours.
  • Ability to provide individual support, work as part of a team, and learn new processes.

Nice to have

  • Experience with customs compliance, customs declarations, classification, origin determination, or valuation.
  • German or another additional language.
  • SAP experience and IT affinity.
