Location: Fort Worth, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work

What you will do

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of facilities master planning projects addressing short- and long-range needs.
  • Define system-level facilities plans that connect facility requirements with supporting infrastructure and operational realities.
  • Translate client goals into phased near-, mid-, and long-term recommendations.
  • Facilitate stakeholder planning discussions and develop deliverables explaining options, tradeoffs, timing, and investment decisions.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary technical experts to ensure feasibility, implementation readiness, and long-term resiliency.
  • Grow facilities master planning work through business development, pursuit support, and team mentoring.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, planning, facilities management, or a related field.
  • Active architect’s license in the State of Texas.
  • 10+ years of architectural practice with progressive responsibility leading complex planning and project delivery efforts.
  • Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams across multiple disciplines.
  • Strong client relationship, communication, judgment, and complex decision-making skills.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • AICP certification.
  • Experience with public-sector facilities master planning pursuits and long-range planning engagements.
  • Experience improving delivery through standards, quality reviews, and repeatable best practices.
  • Multi-state licensure or the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
