R&D Technician (Golf Club)

Location: CGC - HQ - Carlsbad, United States; onsite work in office, lab, and outdoor testing areas.

Salary: $23.32–$29.14–$34.95 per hour

What you will do

• Support golf club product evaluation through measurements, robot testing, player testing, and laboratory analysis.
• Prepare clubs, components, and test samples by reviewing work orders and confirming requirements.
• Operate golf robots, launch monitors, measurement systems, and laboratory equipment.
• Collect, process, and track test data using Excel, statistical software, and R&D databases.
• Assist with equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and test setup improvements.
• Support cross-functional testing while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer skills, Microsoft Excel proficiency, accurate data entry, and basic statistical understanding.
• Ability to read and execute work-order instructions and manage multiple testing priorities.
• General understanding of golf equipment and product performance.
• Mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, data accuracy, and ability to work independently.
• Physical ability to stand, kneel, bend, work around test setups, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• Post-high-school coursework, technical training, or an associate degree.
• At least two years of technician experience.
• Previous R&D, laboratory, product testing, golf equipment, or mechanical testing experience.
• Flexibility to work occasional early mornings or later workdays based on testing needs.
