Sr. Lead (Principal) QA Analyst

What you will do

• Develop and implement enterprise-wide testing practices and strategies for FERC order compliance-related implementations.
• Evaluate and optimize software testing plans, balancing professional testers with business subject matter experts.
• Coordinate testing across business lines as new FERC orders are issued.
• Collaborate with compliance and quality management leaders to assess risks and improve software and infrastructure testing.
• Identify training and upskilling needs and improve cooperation between testers and business SMEs.
• Report on testing effectiveness, compliance adherence, and quality metrics to senior management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience.
• 7–10 years of experience in software quality assurance, including compliance-related testing.
• At least 5 years of experience leading software quality assurance activities.
• Strong understanding of FERC regulations and their impact on software implementations.
• Experience developing enterprise-wide testing strategies, applying testing methodologies and tools, and managing implementation risks.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder influence, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Nice to have

• ISTQB, PMP, or another relevant quality management or project management certification.
• Master’s degree in Business Administration.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
