Pre-Production Manufacturing Planner (PCB)

Location: Santa Ana, California, United States; onsite. First and second shifts are available: Monday–Friday, 9:00 am–5:30 pm or 2:30 pm–11:00 pm.

Salary: $45,934–$72,605 annually, with a possible annual or quarterly bonus and shift premium.

What you will do

• Plan and release shop travelers and tooling instructions for PCB remakes, repeats, re-panelizations, and repeats with changes.
• Release manufacturing instructions to CAM, Artwork, Drill, and Electrical Test departments for tooling generation.
• Interpret purchase orders, travelers, prints, and drawings to verify job instructions and documentation.
• Confirm that process steps, sequences, board quantities, and panel quantities are accurate.
• Implement Engineering Change Notices by updating travelers and creating instructions for relevant departments.
• Complete additional department or company-related tasks as directed by the supervisor.

Requirements

• PCB planning experience is required.
• Fluent spoken, read, and written English is required.
• Basic mathematical and reasoning ability, strong concentration, and accurate document review are required.
• High school diploma or GED is desired; at least five years of work experience may substitute for the education requirement.
• Ability to work at a desktop for most of the shift, walk as needed, and lift up to 30 lbs.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.
