Pricing Analyst/Manager

hirify.global provides government contracting services, with this role focused on Department of Defense proposal pricing.

What you will do

• Lead the development of cost and price volumes for competitive DoD proposals in compliance with RFP requirements, FAR, DFARS, and company policies.
• Coordinate pricing activities across the full proposal lifecycle with program management, contracts, business development, operations, and purchasing.
• Analyze solicitations, develop cost models, identify pricing risks, and define mitigation strategies.
• Develop indirect cost pools, forecast rates, estimate profitability and likely costs, and analyze historical pricing and past performance.
• Present pricing recommendations, financial business cases, and risk assessments to executive management.
• Maintain accurate, auditable proposal files, templates, and databases and support government audits and negotiations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in pricing, cost estimating, or finance within a government contracting environment; DoD experience is required.
• Extensive knowledge of DoD requirements, FAR, DFARS, and government contract types including FFP, CPFF, T&M, and IDIQ.
• Experience developing DoD cost volumes and supporting audits and negotiations.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency, including expert-level Excel skills with lookups, pivot tables, conditional formulas, data validation, and financial analysis functions.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Government Security Clearance.

Nice to have

• Experience pricing Base Operations, Facilities Sustainment, or Construction.
• Experience with CBA, SCA, and DBA.
