Logistics Dispatcher (Logistics)

Location: Houston, TX, USA; full-time, onsite role.

What you will do

• Coordinate drivers, trucks, containers, routes, and daily disposal plans.
• Analyze route data and adjust same-day and next-day routing to improve efficiency, accuracy, capacity, and profitability.
• Monitor trucks and drivers in transit, resolve service issues, and ensure on-time pickup and delivery.
• Manage driver safety, security of company assets, route compliance, and performance escalations.
• Respond to missed pickups and service commitments while maintaining communication with customers and the call center.
• Work with the Operations Manager on disposal plans, intercompany changes, third-party changes, and route improvement opportunities.

Requirements

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• Ability to execute time-sensitive tasks and experience in a customer-facing position.
• Two years of prior experience as a dispatcher or in a similar leadership role preferred.
