Director, Enterprise Risk Management (Enterprise Risk Management/Insurance): Leads enterprise-level risk identification, measurement, monitoring, reporting, and mitigation across an energy infrastructure organization with an accent on ERM frameworks, risk indicators, insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance. Focus on building risk methodologies, models, and dashboards, preparing executive and board reporting, and coordinating risk management across business units.

What you will do
- Support the Chief Risk Officer and business-unit leaders in identifying, measuring, and mitigating evolving risks within the board-approved risk appetite.
- Develop educational resources covering the ERM framework, universal and risk-specific parameters, and key risk indicators.
- Collaborate with risk owners to quantify current and future risks against capacity, target, and tolerance thresholds.
- Report assessed risk levels, document recommendations, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of risk reporting processes and technology.
- Build and implement ERM measurement methodologies, models, compliance measures, and dashboards.
- Prepare quarterly risk profiles, ERM reports, ad hoc materials for executives and board committees, and lead the PJM Insurance Program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or an equivalent level of experience.
- Experience in enterprise risk management, preferably in the energy or utility sector.
- Experience with global and insurance markets in a large corporation with facilities and operational risk.
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, anti-corruption, FCPA, and OFAC rules and violation-prevention practices.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Ability to build relationships across departments and work effectively both as a team member and team leader.
Nice to have
- MBA.
- 5–10 years of leadership experience in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
- Experience working in the energy or utility environment.
- Ability to engage a broad range of stakeholders and support PJM’s customer service reputation.
