Construction Representative - Terminal Development Program (Infrastructure)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

hirify.global is an infrastructure planning and design firm working on water supplies, roadways, bridges, disaster resilience, and other community infrastructure projects.

What you will do

• Observe and inspect transportation, water, and facilities construction to verify compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Oversee construction records, recommend contractor payments, review proposed change orders, and prepare daily reports.
• Assist with preconstruction meetings, progress checks, and conflict resolution.
• Provide project and construction managers with information about change orders, extra work, and supplemental agreements.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal employees.
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 10+ years of relevant construction experience as a construction representative or inspector.
• Full proficiency with project management information systems such as e-Builder, Buzzsaw, FNI Manager, or Site Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.

Nice to have

• Associate degree in a related field.
• CCM, DOT technical certifications, ACI I, APWA certification, or Level I NICET.
