Licensed Optical Manager (Optical)

Location: Mt Juliet, Tennessee, United States; onsite at club #0397

Salary: Starting from $30.00, with additional Manager Bonus and spiff compensation programs

What you will do

• Manage, supervise, train, coach, and develop Optical department team members.
• Provide optician and member service, including eyeglass adjustments, measurements, prescription reading, order paperwork, and product readiness notifications.
• Schedule eye examinations, answer calls, assist members with product selection, and resolve service concerns.
• Coordinate with the Club Manager, Regional Optical Manager, laboratory, and doctors regarding orders, performance, maintenance, and doctor relations.
• Manage opening and closing procedures, payments, cash accuracy, sales goals, and department metrics.
• Maintain a clean, organized, safe Optical department and meet daily GOLD club standards.

Requirements

• Active optician license to work in the state, maintained in good standing.
• Leadership experience, including supervising teams, training team members, and communicating results.
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Open shift availability and regular, predictable full attendance.
• At least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma, college degree, or experience in wholesale, retail, optical, or management is preferred.
