Focus on developing clinical rotation schedules, evaluating student performance, mentoring new hires, and ensuring accurate imaging protocols and radiation safety.
Location: Onsite at MelroseWakefield Hospital in Melrose, Massachusetts, United States
Pay range: $40.53–$51.67 per hour. New external hires may receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

What you will do
- Serve as classroom clinical instructor, preceptor, and supervisor for Medical Radiography Program students.
- Develop and manage student classes, clinical rotations, orientations, and in-service training in coordination with the program director.
- Evaluate student clinical competencies, track activity logs, provide performance feedback, and support student success.
- Act as liaison between the Imaging Department and the Medical Radiography Program and provide academic guidance to students.
- Perform radiologic procedures, verify patients and protocols, provide patient instructions, and ensure safe equipment use.
- Perform equipment quality control, coordinate patient care with other departments, maintain supplies, and support a clean clinical environment.
Requirements
- Associate degree in Radiology or a related field.
- Radiologic Technologist certification from ARRT.
- Radiologic Technologist state license or eligibility for licensure.
- Four years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Knowledge of radiographic equipment, examinations, contrast procedures, patient transfers, positioning, and radiation safety.
- Ability to teach in clinical settings, support students and faculty, make decisions, and apply critical thinking.
Nice to have
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Five years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Two years of experience in a radiology educational role.
