Senior Ambient Client Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; projects are mostly in Texas, with 20% travel required

Salary: $80,000–$110,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and geographic location.

What you will do

• Manage the technical, field, financial, and administrative aspects of ambient air monitoring projects.
• Operate and maintain ambient air quality monitoring sensors.
• Write or assist with monitoring report submissions.
• Coordinate method research, equipment procurement and rental, travel arrangements, logistics, SOP generation, and implementation.
• Interact and coordinate with regulatory agencies while tracking project deadlines and communicating updates.
• Maintain client relationships through effective communication and customer service.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in science, preferably with an emphasis in biology, chemistry, mathematics, or engineering.
• At least 8 years of experience conducting ambient projects in the field.
• Experience managing client relationships and overseeing project budgets and costs.
• Effective computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office, plus proficiency with Android OS.
• Willingness to travel 20% of the time; projects are mostly in Texas.
• Ability to handle technical equipment outdoors, climb ladders and stairs, work at heights, lift 50 pounds unassisted, and work weekends or after hours when necessary.
