What you will do
- Review actual operating results from finance teams across Asia, identify issues, and follow up on pending clarifications.
- Review forecast and budget submissions from Asia locations for alignment with corporate guidelines.
- Ensure financial records comply with established policies and procedures.
- Assist with tax compliance across Asia locations.
- Advise local teams on accounting standards and financial reporting treatment under the Controllers Manual.
- Handle ad hoc corporate requests and provide guidance to regional locations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification.
- Two to three years of audit experience in a public accounting firm and at least one year of commercial experience preferred.
- Candidates without audit experience may be considered with four to five years of management reporting experience and strong accounting knowledge.
- Fluent English communication and writing skills; conversational Mandarin required.
- Meticulous, detail-oriented, investigative, and able to work effectively under strict timelines.
