Patient Care Coordinator Full Time (Optical Telemedicine)

What you will do

• Deliver efficient tele-optometry exams using optical and telemedicine equipment.
• Greet patients, identify vision needs, promote eye exam availability, and schedule appointments.
• Collect patient histories and perform retinal imaging, auto refraction, keratometry, tonometry, lensometry, pupillary testing, and other ancillary tests.
• Facilitate live video interactions between patients, technicians, and optometrists, and communicate doctor recommendations to opticians.
• Support eyewear selection, adjustments, repairs, product education, exam bookings, and sales goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized optical area and follow club policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, college degree, or experience in wholesale retail, retail, optical, or medical environments.
• Customer service experience in a retail, restaurant, optical, or medical setting.
• Strong verbal communication, interpersonal, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Interest in telemedicine growth and healthcare technology, with a commitment to patient care.
• Open shift availability, regular full attendance, and minimum age of 18.
• Ability to work while frequently moving, bending, reaching, and lifting objects up to 20 pounds.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of optical products and optical business practices.
• College degree or relevant optical or medical experience.
