Lead Systems Analyst (AI)

Location: Boston, MA, United States; hybrid schedule with office attendance 4 days per week and remote work 1 day per week.

Salary: USD 90,000–180,000 per year, plus potential variable compensation and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead onboarding for brokers, dealers, and vendor partners integrating with proprietary trading systems.
• Act as a primary technical contact for external partners, providing guidance and resolving integration issues.
• Design and implement AI-assisted tools for FIX workflow automation, configuration validation, conformance checks, exception categorization, and root-cause analysis.
• Configure, test, implement, and support FIX connections and integrations with order management system workflows.
• Partner with developers, business analysts, QE engineers, and trading teams to define requirements and deliver new integrations.
• Investigate production issues using logs, SQL, audits, and network data, then document and communicate solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience as a business analyst or systems analyst designing and developing technical solutions.
• Strong understanding of the FIX protocol, electronic trading systems, and trade execution, confirmation, and post-trade workflows.
• Experience with Python or Java for automation and testing.
• Experience delivering, implementing, or supporting an order management system in the investment management industry.
• Knowledge of equity, fixed income, derivatives, or FX instruments, plus familiarity with network protocols and security practices.
• Bachelor’s degree and strong communication, prioritization, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OMS workflows, asset-class-specific trading practices, electronic trading markets, or FIX protocol certification.
• Project management skills and experience.
