Project Manager – W/WW Transmission and Utilities

Location: Overland Park, Kansas, United States; hybrid schedule with up to 40% remote work.

What you will do

• Lead water and wastewater transmission and utilities projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction support.
• Manage scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, estimates, project charges, risks, and changes across multiple projects.
• Direct and review calculations, drawings, specifications, and reports for quality and consistency.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subconsultants, engineers, designers, and technicians.
• Act as a primary contact for clients, regulators, contractors, and vendors.
• Provide construction-phase leadership, including field coordination and resident engineering support on complex projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• 6+ years of related engineering experience involving independent judgment and problem solving.
• Experience leading project teams and coordinating technical work across multiple project phases.
• Clear communication skills and the ability to maintain accountability for commitments.

Nice to have

• Experience with water and wastewater transmission and utilities projects, including pipelines, pump stations, tanks, and valve facilities.
• Experience managing multi-office teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Construction administration experience and collaboration with contractors and vendors.
• Experience mentoring engineers and designers and developing client relationships.
