CDL A Local Delivery Flatbed Driver with Hazmat

Location: SPP Totowa, NJ — 412A, 5 Taft Road, Totowa, New Jersey 07512. Local deliveries only; home every night.

Pay: $28–$30 per hour plus discretionary bonuses.

What you will do

• Make safe, complete, accurate, and on-time local deliveries using efficient routes.
• Load and unload products, secure cargo, and separate hazardous materials appropriately.
• Collect payments and complete delivery documentation accurately.
• Maintain compliance with DOT, FMCSR, and other applicable state and federal regulations.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Keep the vehicle clean, well-maintained, and presentable while building product knowledge.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old.
• Valid commercial driver’s license; HAZMAT endorsement is preferred.
• MVR and PSP with no more than two combined violations or at-fault accidents in the past three years.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Excellent customer service, written and verbal communication, and ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Pre-employment drug testing and background verification are required; the position is safety-sensitive.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with PCs and material-handling equipment.
• Moffett, Skelly, or air-brake experience.
