Salary: $30–$56 per hour

What you will do
- Install, maintain, and repair high-purity gas, water, waste, and other facility piping systems.
- Install piping and hookups for semiconductor production equipment in cleanroom environments.
- Respond to maintenance requests and troubleshoot distribution systems and installed equipment.
- Support Equipment Engineers with piping installation and maintenance specifications.
- Prepare material take-offs and manage orders for piping projects.
- Support quality, safety, environmental management, CQI, 5S, yield improvement, and cost-containment initiatives.
Requirements
- At least four years of pipe trades experience related to semiconductor facilities.
- Proficiency in orbital welding and tube bending in a clean environment.
- Experience with ultra-high-purity stainless-steel gas piping and deionized-water piping.
- Knowledge of piping codes, semiconductor facility practices, P&IDs, system maintenance, component replacement, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of hazardous waste management and respiratory protection requirements.
- Ability to read, write, perform basic technical calculations, climb ladders, lift up to 60 pounds, and work at heights up to 20 feet.
Nice to have
- Journeyman Pipe Fitter status.
- Experience with hazardous chemical distribution and waste piping systems.
- Cleanroom gowning, de-gowning, cleaning, and contamination-control experience.
- Minnesota High Pressure Piping License or Municipal Natural Gas License.
