What you will do

• Serve as a full-service point of contact for new and existing customers.
• Process teller, monetary, account maintenance, and new-account transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Open accounts, explain products, disclosures, regulations, and FDIC protection, and resolve customer issues.
• Build customer relationships, identify banking needs, offer suitable products, and make appropriate referrals to licensed representatives.
• Safeguard cash, negotiable instruments, vaults, safes, ATMs, customer records, and bank assets.
• Support branch operations by training colleagues, maintaining the customer area, and following security, audit, compliance, CIP, and BSA procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years of combined retail banking experience as a Teller and/or Customer Service Representative.
• Knowledge of banking products and services, with the ability to develop and maintain detailed product knowledge.
• Strong customer service, problem-solving, interpersonal, verbal, written, and phone communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, professional, and able to exercise sound judgment with confidential information.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; weekend work, extended hours, neighboring-branch coverage, and occasional travel for mandatory training may be required.
