Manager, Indirect Procurement – Corporate Travel and Marketing

Location: Hybrid in Naperville, Illinois, United States; estimated travel below 10%.

Salary: $87,230–$127,897 per year.

What you will do

• Develop and execute indirect procurement and corporate travel and expense strategies focused on savings, risk mitigation, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Lead RFx sourcing, supplier selection, onboarding, contract negotiations, and commercial-term optimization.
• Analyze spend, costs, benchmarks, trends, and KPIs to identify savings opportunities and improve policy compliance.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance, risk, business reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Optimize travel and expense policies, processes, tools, and procure-to-pay workflows.
• Collaborate with Finance, Marketing and Events, Legal, Data Security, and Compliance stakeholders while supporting travel and expense inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of progressive experience directly managing corporate travel and expense programs.
• At least 3 years of experience managing indirect procurement, preferably for Sales, Marketing, or a related business unit.
• Proven supplier negotiation experience with airlines, hotels, and car rental companies, including cost savings or avoidance.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing expense policies, internal controls, fraud prevention, audit readiness, and compliance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, e-signature platforms, and T&E or P2P/S2P procurement systems.

Nice to have

• Experience with SAP Ariba, Deem, Workday Expense, Coupa, or similar platforms.
