What you will do
- Validate inbound and outbound warehouse production by inspecting trailers, locations, pallets, cases, and split-case totes.
- Check brands, varieties, quantities, order accuracy, pallet construction, and product integrity.
- Work with selectors and leadership to correct discrepancies and rebuild pallets in real time.
- Verify food safety and quality standards, document issues, and support root-cause analysis.
- Protect customer experience and maintain inventory integrity by resolving defects at their source.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least one year of experience working with a Warehouse Management System.
- Working knowledge of inventory accuracy validation, pallet construction standards, food safety requirements, and basic LEAN concepts.
- Ability to communicate clearly, work independently, maintain schedule accountability, and demonstrate strong attention to detail.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, climb as required, and safely lift, carry, push, or move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to operate powered industrial trucks safely and work in temperatures from -10°F to ambient.
Nice to have
- Experience in food distribution, quality assurance, inventory control, or clerking.
- Additional training in quality, food safety, or warehouse operations.
